Wildlife in our Backyard

We live in a very unique place in the City, where we are in the heart of the city, yet we are surrounded by the beauty of nature. We have a gorgeous Waterfall two blocks from us, we have parks that go on for miles and yet, we live across the street from the train station and only a few miles from Downtown. My favorite part, however is that we have a very woodland-y backyard! I have been trying to get stuff done around the house this morning, but I didn't get too much done because I was so distracted by all the animals posing outside for me! The bluebirds were too fast for me to catch and the squirrel was a little too fast he ended up blurry, but cute squirrel nonetheless !!

One of my favoite things to do on the weekends is to wake up early, and head down to the Como Zoo and Conservatory. This past Satuday was a perfect day to get down there with my camera, especially since the animals were awake and active (which isn't always the case!) Here are some of my favorites :: * * *
