Flaskback!

In looking through some of my past work, I realized that I didn't post some of my favorite photos that I took! Last summer I was so honored to take engagement photos for my gorgeous sister and her fiancé {now husband}.  They have always lived in uptown and so it was just so fitting that we walked around the lakes, their favorite spot. It was the first time that I did "people" photography - I had so much fun and I  was really happy with the results! Here are a few of my favorites.

VCCS Fall Craft Show

Today I spent the day at the Valley Crossing Community School for their 2nd Annual Fall Craft Show. I will say, this was one of the better shows I've done for many reason. They did a good really good job getting a variety of vendors -- there was only 1 other photographer there! They also let the vendors pre-order food, and they delivered it to our booths for us! I got breakfast & lunch delivered right to my table!! And they also had some volunteers pushing a cart around throughout the day with snacks & beverages. 

One of the best things about this show was that there was a constant flow of people -- and people were ready to shop! I will be participating in this event next year for sure - and I would recommend it to any fellow artists out there!

Here's a shot of my table set up. My dad & I made the floor card rack on the right. Man am I glad for that! It makes it so much easier for people to browse through my cards & prints, and it's just a nicer looking display than what I was using before.

Lovin' the Fall Colors

My fiancé & I were getting ready to take our Engagement photos - so I had to scout out the perfect location! Luckily I had my camera when I stumbled upon this beauty in South Minneapolis. It was so amazingly gorgeous I knew we just had to take our engagement photos here. The colors were exquisite and it is the perfect backdrop for some lovey-dovey photos :) I just love fall & this is my new favorite place.
